The unofficial watermelon rock at the Carpenter Park, Thornton, Colorado, USA. The name was given by my 10-year old daughter.
I was walking by the lake and suddenly it caught my attention. It was among many such rocks placed around the lake. However, this one looks special because of moss build-up near its bottom. And the setting sun has made it look all different. I am glad that I was there at the right time.
I was testing a 6-year old Canon 28-135 f3.5-5.6 IS USM lens mounted on a Canon 6D. The result was not bad.
